1 ¾ cup All-purpose flour
2 tsp Baking powder
1/2 cup Butter, softened
1 cup Caster sugar
2 nos Large eggs
2 nos Lemon zest
1 nos Lemon juice
1 tsp Vanilla essence
1/4 tsp Salt
2 tbsp Poppy seed
1/2 cup Magnolia Pasteurized Milk
1 cup Icing sugar (lemon glaze)
2 tbsp Lemon juice (lemon glaze)
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Butter a 9-inch loaf pan and set aside
- Sift all-purpose flour and baking powder. Set aside.
- Using a mixer, beat the butter and sugar, until light and fluffy.
- Add in egg, one at a time, beat well each time.
- Add in lemon zest, lemon juice, vanilla essence, salt and poppy seed. Mix well.
- Add in half the milk and half the flour, mix on a low speed. Once combined, add in the remaining milk and flour, mix until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for 1 hour or until a skewer inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean.
- Let it cool completely in the pan before unmoulding.

Langkah-langkah
